Key People
Ilay Cooper
A writer, photographer, art historian, lecturer, traveller and a tour expert in South Asia!!! Yes, he is all this…

Mr. Ilay Cooper is a man who stands completely by the saying “Live life to the fullest!” A person full of life and light, an inspiration and guide to many. NKC met Ilay Cooper in his twenties, when Cooper was studying the Shekhawati wall paintings and soon grew to become friends. NKC was inspired by his friend’s views and ideologies. NKC then was working in his father’s shoe shop as a local vendor, in Churu. Having met Ilay, NKC search of what he wants to do in life grew within. He knew his ways were to be surrounded by measures that would add to the society in one way or the other, and especially make a change in the lives of the females. Having lived in a Marwari region, and seen the culture and art, the talents these village men and women held within themselves, NKC was inspired to work for them. Ilay Cooper came around as just the mentor, who helped NKC do his research about work and moreover provided the moral strength and support required. It was a drastic step, which NKC had taken, but having his friend from overseas just encouraged him, simply motivated him to go and live to achieve his dreams…
