Learning has been my constant companion since the day I decided to pursue my dream. A learning organization focuses on creating, acquiring and transferring knowledge which helps to unlearn and reflect on new insights.

In a quickly changing environment more than what you know the ability to learn something new is more necessary. I believe the success of an organization depends upon creating a transformative culture of learning.

Learning is an evolution of perspectives and mindsets. The new normal further makes it a point that organizations need to evolve into learning institutions to survive in a volatile environment.

As leaders it is our responsibility to create a culture of learning in our organizations. This will help in tackling challenges with ease and understanding.

Today’s employees are more focused to learn and earn rather than earn and accumulate profits. Learning enhances the knowledge and leads to innovation.

Leaders should create in house development programs and workshops and allow employees to explore their interests and learn while working.  Some of the positive effects of letting your organization evolve as a learning institution are as follows.

Harness Creativity

Give employees a space to unleash their creativity. By allowing employees to share new ideas on business processes, organizations can receive ongoing feedback that may improve company operations.

Organizations that foster a culture of innovation and experimentation can quickly adapt to a changing landscape. By promoting new ideas and being receptive to change, companies can harness creativity of employees.

Hiring and onboarding new employees is a necessary process for any organization. However, to choose people according to their passion and purpose and getting them up to speed can be a challenge as well as responsibility.
